*Mainlands Development delivers Artea Mall, the first ready-to-operate mixed-use project in New Narges*
Mainlands Development celebrated the handover of Artea Mall to its customers, reflecting the company’s philosophy of turning its commitments into tangible results.
The project has become the first ready-to-operate mixed-use development in the New Narges area. The handover ceremony was held at the project site in the Fifth Settlement, in the presence of customers, business partners, engineering and architectural consultants, operations representatives, as well as the FM and insurance companies.
Tarek Abdel Latif, Chairman of Mainlands Development, said that the company views project handover as a direct responsibility toward its customers rather than simply a contractual deadline.
Abdel Latif added that the company’s primary objective is to deliver a tangible real estate product on schedule, enabling customers to move quickly into the operational phase and start benefiting from their investments.
He noted that the project’s handover holds particular significance as it comes only around three years after its launch in August 2023. The company successfully completed and handed over the project in August 2026, demonstrating its ability to adhere to execution schedules, despite the contractual handover deadline extending to June 2027.
He further pointed out that this achievement represents more than simply completing the construction works; it reflects an institutional approach that the company has adopted for years, based on the belief that adherence to delivery timelines and execution quality are at the core of the relationship with customers and among the most important indicators of a real estate developer’s credibility.
Abdel Latif disclosed that the handover of Artea Mall marks an important milestone in the company’s journey, not only as an execution achievement but also as a tangible manifestation of its commitment to customers.
He emphasized that a real estate developer’s credibility is built through its ability to fulfill its commitments and turn what it promises customers into a tangible reality on the ground.
Mainlands Development’s chairman explained that delivering the project on or ahead of schedule represents direct investment value for customers, as it enables them to start using and operating their units and generate investment returns at an earlier stage.
He indicated that the company considers its customers’ success an essential part of its own success and the sustainability of its business.
Artea Mall enjoys a prime location as the first ready-to-operate commercial, administrative, and medical project in the New Narges area. This gives its customers a strong competitive advantage, particularly given the limited availability of ready-to-operate units in the area, allowing them to benefit from and operate their units as quickly as possible, according to Abdel Latif.
He explained that the project’s impact is not limited to the New Narges area, but also extends to the Narges Buildings area, which has a high population density, enhancing the potential for occupancy and demand for commercial, administrative, and medical activities within the project.
The company reaffirmed its commitment to its customers across all of its projects currently under development, pledging to adhere to the scheduled delivery timelines while ensuring that units are handed over at the highest levels of readiness, enabling customers to operate and benefit from them immediately upon handover.
He noted that Mainlands Development’s strategy is primarily focused on directing its resources toward actual on-site execution rather than treating real estate development as merely a marketing activity.
He explained that the strength of any developer is ultimately measured by what it delivers on the ground, as well as its ability to meet execution deadlines and maintain the quality of its products.
“The company has around 21 years of experience in the real estate market, during which it has developed residential and commercial projects and built a diversified portfolio, including six completed and ongoing projects, in addition to a major residential project comprising approximately 900 units,” Abdel Latif said. “This experience has strengthened the company’s ability to manage the development cycle comprehensively, from planning and design through construction, handover, and operations, which has directly enhanced its ability to fulfill its commitments to customers.”
He highlighted that quality and commitment are not separate elements of the company’s strategy, but rather form the foundation of its operations in the market. Directing resources toward construction and execution is the real investment that ensures the delivery of a strong product and maintains customer trust.
He stressed that the company’s celebration of the Artea Mall handover, attended by customers, business partners, engineering and architectural consultants, operations representatives, as well as the FM and insurance companies, reflects its commitment to involving all stakeholders throughout the project journey. This approach ensures a smooth, organized, and professional transition from construction to the start of operations.
Artea Mall represents a model for the type of commercial developments targeted by the company, particularly given its prime location in the Fifth Settlement at the intersection of Gamal Abdel Nasser Axis and Talaat Harb Axis. The project is also strategically located within close proximity to four major residential areas: Narges Buildings, New Narges, the Third District, and the Diplomats Area, in addition to being near several key roads and landmarks, he noted.
The company’s chairman concluded that Mainlands Development will continue to build on its accumulated expertise in the coming phase while maintaining the same standards of execution, quality, and commitment. “We believe that trust is not built on promises, but on what customers see and receive on the ground. Therefore, commitment to execution, quality, and timely delivery will remain among the key principles guiding our operations in the years ahead.”
