Valu Closes Its 23rdSecuritized Bond Issuance Worth EGP 945.8 Million
Valu, the leading universal financial technology powerhouse in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), announced today the successful closing of its 23rdsecuritized bond issuance, valued at EGP 945.8 million, with EFG Hermes, an EFG Holding company and the leading investment bank in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). The transaction marks the fourth issuance under Valu’s eighth securitization program, which has a total value of EGP 10 billion.
The bond is backed by a receivables portfolio assigned to EFG for Securitization, which acts as the special purpose vehicle (SPV) for the issuance.
The bond has a 13-month tenor and is structured into a single tranche rated AA-.

EFG Hermes acted as the sole financial advisor, sole transaction manager, bookrunner, underwriter, and arranger on the issuance. Matouk Bassiouny & Hennawy acted as legal advisor, and Baker Tilly as auditor.
The latest transaction reflects Valu’s continued execution of its securitization strategy, leveraging structured financing solutions to support its growth ambitions and diversify its funding sources, while reinforcing its longstanding partnership with EFG Hermes in the debt capital markets.
