Cairo, December 22, 2025 – Madinet Masr (EGX: MASR.CA), announced that it has won two prestigious awards at the Invest-Gate ACE Awards 2025, underscoring the company’s leadership in sustainable urban development and corporate social responsibility. The company received the Mixed-Use Project of the Year 2025 for its flagship development Taj City in addition to the CSR Initiative of the Year 2025 – Heritage Preservation for its Buyut Al-Khalifa project, in Historic Cairo. This recognition comes in appreciation of Madinet Masr’s efforts to develop innovative urban projects that seamlessly integrate residential, commercial, and leisure uses within fully integrated communities, alongside implementing sustainable social initiatives that contribute to improving quality of life, supporting local communities, and preserving Egypt’s urban and cultural identity.
Madinet Masr was awarded Mixed-Use Project of the Year 2025 for Taj City, a comprehensive model for modern urban communities, distinguished by its integrated master plan that combines residential, commercial, administrative, and leisure uses within a cohesive ecosystem. The development includes 11 residential compounds and 2 commercial projects to cater to a wide range of customer segments.
Taj City features Tajed, the Company’s first fully integrated commercial and administrative destination, as well as The Prism, the first retail and entertainment hub within Tajed, offering a contemporary architectural design that blends upscale dining and fashion retail into a distinctive lifestyle experience. The project also includes Shark Tank Business Park, the world’s first business park inspired by the globally renowned television show Shark Tank, redefining the entrepreneurial lifestyle by integrating work and leisure within a single destination to enhance productivity and reflect modern work patterns.
In addition, Kayan introduces an integrated concept combining the first Swiss international school (Lemania Swiss International School – LSIS) with Klub Kayan, an innovative sports and wellness facility, alongside the already operational Asten College, further enriching the quality of life for residents. Strategically located with direct access to key road networks, Taj City is also set to host Madinet Masr’s headquarter.
Madinet Masr also received the CSR Initiative of the Year 2025 award for its Buyut Al Khalifa initiative, aimed at revitalizing urban areas along Al-Rukbiyya Street in Historic Cairo. The project focuses on restoring the urban fabric in the heart of Historic Cairo, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, while improving residents’ quality of life and addressing areas most vulnerable to deterioration.
The initiative represents a cornerstone of Madinet Masr’s “Building Communities” strategy for sustainable development and corporate social responsibility, specifically under the Heritage Revival pillar.
