M&P Launches Scholarship Program to Support the Next Generation of Leaders Across the Middle East and Africa

Cairo, May 2, 2026 — In celebration of its tenth anniversary , M&P, the premier public policy government relations, and strategic communications firm, has officially announced the launch of the “M&P Scholarship Program”, a landmark initiative that marks a new chapter in the Group’s ongoing commitment to shaping the future of public affairs across the Middle East and Africa.

The program is a new annual initiative that reflects M&P’s enduring dedication to investing in the next generation of leaders, thinkers, and changemakers in the region. It represents not only a milestone moment in the Group’s journey, but also a forward-looking investment in the human capital that will shape the region’s public policy landscape for years ahead.

The scholarship is designed to support one outstanding graduate each year by covering full tuition fees for enrollment in an accredited one-year postgraduate program. Eligible fields of study include public policy, political science, economics, strategic communications, international affairs, and other closely related disciplines — areas that sit at the heart of M&P’s own expertise and regional impact.

Commenting on the launch, Ambassador Sherif El Bidewy, CEO of M&P, stated:

Through this initiative, we aim to empower a new generation of talented young people who possess the ambition, intellect, and determination to make a real difference in their communities, and to contribute to building a future that is more efficient, more accountable, and more responsive to the priorities and aspirations of our region.

The program is open to holders of a bachelor’s degree who demonstrate a strong academic record, clear leadership potential, and a genuine, demonstrated commitment to the values of public service and civic responsibility. The Group particularly encourages applications from candidates who bring professional interest or hands-on experience in the fields of public policy and strategic communications, as such backgrounds align closely with the program’s aims and the Group’s broader mission.

The selection process has been designed to be rigorous, merit-based, and comprehensive. It begins with a thorough review of all submitted applications, followed by a written assessment intended to evaluate each candidate’s analytical depth, strategic thinking, and ability to engage with complex public affairs challenges.
Shortlisted candidates then advance to the final stage, which consists of in-person interviews with members of the Group’s Board of Directors and senior leadership team.
Applications for the program opened in late April 2026 and will remain open until June 15, 2026. The written assessment is scheduled to take place in late June, with final interviews to follow in mid-July. The recipient of the inaugural scholarship will be officially announced on August 1, 2026.
