Iftar on the Nile Reflects a Lasting Partnership…Coca-Cola HBC Egypt and Misr El Kheir Foundation Host Iftar for thousands at Mamsha Ahl Misr
Cairo, 17 March 2026 – Coca-Cola HBC Egypt sponsored a large Ramadan iftar event organized by Misr El Kheir Foundation at Mamsha Ahl Misr, in the presence of thousands of beneficiaries. The event reflected the spirit of cooperation between the private sector and civil society in service of the Egyptian community.
This gathering marks the culmination of a series of joint initiatives carried out throughout Ramadan, including the distribution of food support to more than one million beneficiaries, the establishment of a daily iftar tent, the launch of food convoys to the most underprivileged villages across Egypt, and company employee engagement in packing and volunteer activities, leading up to this large communal iftar that brings together thousands of fasting individuals in a warm atmosphere on the banks of the Nile.
Adnan Topic, General Manager of Coca-Cola HBC Egypt, stated that the series of initiatives and community activities implemented by the company during Ramadan, reflects its firm commitment to creating shared value for society. He added that the company believes institutional success is measured by the extent of its positive and sustainable impact on people’s lives. He further noted that, through its strategic partnership with Misr El Kheir Foundation, the company is proud that its efforts have reached more than one million beneficiaries, strengthening its role as an active partner in supporting civil society and promoting a culture of solidarity and volunteerism.
