Arkania Developments has unveiled the key pillars of its 2026 investment plan as part of its strategy to expand its portfolio and strengthen its position in the Egyptian real estate market.
The company also announced the launch of its latest project, REFAD, marking a new addition to its portfolio and reflecting its focus on delivering value-driven developments.
The announcement was made during a press conference where the company outlined the key elements of its investment plan for the current year, along with its broader expansion strategy for the coming period.
The event was attended by Eng. Ashraf Mostafa, Chairman of Arkania Developments; Dr. Samir Benani, Commercial Consultant to the company; and Eng. Omar Okeil, Architecture Consultant for the REFAD project.
Eng. Ashraf Mostafa, Chairman of Arkania Developments, said the company’s 2026 strategy will focus primarily on accelerating construction activity and injecting direct investments into project sites, reflecting its commitment to timely execution and disciplined delivery.
Mostafa noted that the company plans to increase construction pace and reinforce delivery timelines, supported by close operational oversight of all projects currently under development.
He pointed out that the company’s plan for the year is built around three core pillars: growth, investment, and security. Growth will be driven through carefully planned expansion, while investment will focus on channeling real liquidity into project sites.
Security, meanwhile, reflects the company’s commitment to its clients through tangible progress on the ground and clearly defined delivery schedules, reinforcing customer confidence and supporting sustainable investment value, he added.
He disclosed that by the end of 2025, the company’s total investments had reached approximately EGP 9.446bn, reflecting the accelerated growth it has achieved in recent years, supported by a clear operational plan and a long-term investment vision.
Arkania’s chairman further explained that during 2026, the company aims to increase its investment portfolio to a new level that will be announced soon, as part of an expansion plan targeting east Cairo and several cities in the Delta, further strengthening its geographic presence and expanding its customer base.
Mostafa also indicated that 2026 will mark a new phase of expansion for Arkania Developments, as the company plans to launch a number of new projects. Leading this pipeline in the first quarter (Q1) is the REFAD – Golden Square project, which reflects the company’s direction toward developing projects in strategic locations with strong investment value.
He explained that the new residential project, REFAD – A Timeless Promise, is located in District 8 – Golden Square in Beit Al-Watan, New Cairo.
REFAD is a fully integrated residential development spanning over 7 acres, carefully designed to balance built-up areas with open spaces, providing an upscale living experience for clients seeking privacy and distinction in one of the most promising areas of east Cairo.
He highlighted the strategic importance of the project’s location, which boosts its investment value both now and in the future. The development is positioned close to the Mohamed Bin Zayed Axis, the View Zone, and the main service hub of District 8, demonstrating the company’s commitment to selecting a prime site based on careful analysis of the area’s growth potential.
Mostafa added that REFAD – A Timeless Promise was developed according to an urban philosophy focused on offering a fully integrated residential experience that enhances comfort, security, and quality of life. The project is designed as a gated compound, providing the highest level of privacy for its residents.
The project also offers a variety of residential units ranging from one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom apartments, with spaces starting from 50 sqm up to 195 sqm to meet the needs of different clients.
The development is distinguished by its integrated open-space design, featuring a central lake and landscaped areas, along with carefully distributed green spaces throughout the compound, he concluded.
Dr. Samir Bennani, Commercial Consultant for Arkania Developments, stated that the project provides a range of modern amenities and facilities, including an open gym, smart cinema, children’s play area, and the Arkania Lounge with free Wi-Fi.
He said that these facilities are designed to meet the needs of entertainment, work, and relaxation alike, highlighted that REFAD incorporates the latest smart technologies, including smart home systems, Triple Play services, electric vehicle charging points, and golf carts for internal mobility.
Bennani added that all services are managed through the Arkania app, providing residents with a fully integrated and flexible living experience.
He emphasized the role of surrounding amenities in enhancing residents’ quality of life and comfort. The project is complemented by a range of essential facilities, including an administrative mall, a 13,000 sqm school, a 5,500 sqm mosque, as well as a nursery, a food court, and open spaces fully equipped with essential services, offering residents a safe and convenient lifestyle.
The project commercial consultant added that the company plans to commence operations at the Arkania Business Hub in the Q2 of this year, while New Mansoura Mall is scheduled for completion and handover in the Q1 of 2027.
Furthermore, the company aims to deliver LAVIDA – New Mansoura in the Q2 of 2028. Construction for the Mashreq – New Cairo project is scheduled to begin in the Q3 of this year, alongside the commencement of construction for REFAD – Golden Square, with handover planned for the Q4 of 2028.
Eng. Omar Okeil, the project’s architectural consultant, disclosed that the architectural design of the project fully separates pedestrian movement from vehicle traffic within the compound, creating a calm and safe environment, particularly for families and children, while enhancing the communal character of the open spaces.
He added that vehicle access is directed straight to the basement levels from outside the project, which helps reduce traffic congestion within the compound, preserves its aesthetic appeal, and maintains overall tranquility, ensuring higher safety standards and giving residents greater privacy and quality of life.
Okeil noted that the project’s design is based on innovative architectural and engineering principles focused on residents’ comfort and quality of life. All elements of the project, from residential units to open spaces and landscaping, have been carefully planned to achieve an ideal balance between aesthetics and functionality.
He also highlighted that smart facilities, such as smart home systems, electric vehicle charging points, and golf carts for internal mobility, have been seamlessly integrated into the design to provide a fully integrated living experience.
He concluded that every architectural decision was made with sustainability in mind, aiming to deliver a real estate product that elevates the standards of modern living.
