“Elano” and “Ahl Masr” Organize Medical Convoy in Beheira to Provide Medicines and Raise Awareness of Burn Risks and Prevention
Elano: Supporting Healthcare and Raising Community Awareness Are Key Priorities of Our Corporate Social Responsibility Strategy
Valley Water, the producer of Elano water, organized a medical convoy in collaboration with Ahl Masr Foundation for Burn Treatment at Al-Wafaiya Health Unit in Beheira Governorate last week.
The initiative aimed to provide local residents with healthcare services and medicines while raising awareness of burn risks, prevention methods, and safety measures. Valley Water employees also volunteered in the initiative as part of the company’s corporate social responsibility strategy and its commitment to supporting the healthcare sector and serving local communities.
The convoy featured four medical clinics specializing in internal medicine, pediatrics, dermatology and burns, and orthopedics. The clinics provided medical examinations and free medicines to local residents, alongside health education on burn prevention and safe practices to minimize related risks.
Particular emphasis was placed on raising awareness among families and children to help reduce household accidents and promote a culture of safety and prevention.
Maha Abusaa Corporate Impact and Communication Sr. Manager at “Valley Water,” said the medical convoy reflects the company’s commitment to its social responsibility and its dedication to building effective partnerships with specialized organizations. These partnerships are designed to ensure that its corporate social responsibility initiatives address the genuine needs of local communities and deliver a positive, sustainable impact on people’s lives.
“We are proud of our partnership with the Ahl Masr Foundation and Hospital for Burn Treatment on this important initiative, which reflects our belief that corporate social responsibility goes beyond providing support to actively participating in initiatives that make a tangible difference in communities. We believe that awareness and prevention are essential to reducing burn risks, particularly among families and children. This is why we are committed to supporting initiatives that prioritize health education and access to healthcare for the most vulnerable communities,” Abu Saa said.
She emphasized that supporting the healthcare sector is one of the key pillars of Valley Water’s corporate social responsibility strategy, reflecting the company’s belief that improving quality of life begins with expanding access to healthcare services and strengthening preventive health awareness.
She noted that the partnership with Ahl Masr demonstrates the importance of collaboration between the private sector and civil society organizations in addressing healthcare challenges and reaching underserved communities.
Abu Saa explained that Valley Water employees’ participation in the convoy reflects the company’s commitment to fostering a culture of volunteerism within its workplace and providing employees with opportunities to contribute directly to their communities. This approach ensures that corporate social responsibility is an integral part of the company’s corporate culture rather than a series of activities disconnected from its core operations.
Abu Saa stressed that investing in people’s health and safety remains a top priority for Valley Water.
She reaffirmed the company’s commitment to continuously developing its corporate social responsibility programs, with a particular focus on raising awareness of burn risks, reducing household accidents, and encouraging greater employee participation in volunteer activities. These efforts aim to support community development and contribute to creating a safer environment for families and children.
